Needless to say, after we successfully figured out how to put the hood on, I pranced around the house in my cap and gown. My brother looked at me like I had two heads. That's okay. Soon, I'll have two degrees. Ahh!
Okay, on to other topics.... fashion. :) Another favorite of mine.
One of the other teachers at school recently made the comment to me that I have a 'knack' for wearing clothes. At first, I wasn't entirely sure what that meant. However, after some contemplation, I realized what a compliment that was. After all, other fabulous women have been said that they know how to wear clothes.
My mind drifts to these lovely ladies...
Two First Ladies of Fashion--Jackie Kennedy and Princess Grace
The lovely Audrey Hepburn and Katherine Hepburn
And from a more modern perspective...more of my favorite style icons...

“No one else looked like her, spoke like her, wrote like her, or was so original in the way she did things. No one we knew ever had a better sense of self.”--Teddy Kennedy on Jackie Kennedy Onassis.
Quite the compliment. Makes one realize how style isn't so much built from the outside but rather the inside out. Still, I think I do enjoy being fashionable....
